We're heading over to Seattle Wednesday, October 5th, for our first set of orientations, workshops, and medical evaluations. We are planning to head back to the Tri-Cities on Friday (the 7th), after our last appointment, and by then hopefully have a better idea of what we'll need and have the weekend to gather up those things.
If everything is a "go" the transplant will take 3-3 1/2 months. Which means we'll be in Seattle all that time. We have already reserved a room at SCCA House (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance) for that first month. Due to infection control concerns; plants, flowers, or cuttings are not allowed inside the building.
I greatly appreciate all the prayers coming my way.
