I didn't get a headache with the spinal tap last Friday (October 7). Chris and I went to IHOP on Saturday and walked around Green Lake, about 2 1/2 miles. It was a gorgeous sunny day with everyone out and about. Sunday we ate at a cute little place called Nollies. Walked to REI and then down to Lake Union and around that area.
Monday Chris went back to work and I met him downtown for lunch. We walked down to the market and had delicious soup at Pike's Place Chowder House. He went back to work and I did a little shopping. Glenn arrived back from Kennewick on Tuesday, but had a cold so we moved him to Chris' apartment for the rest of the week and Chris stayed with me. Anyone with a cold or flu symptoms is not allowed at the SCCA Clinic and they didn't want me catching a cold from Glenn. So I was on my own for the tests and meetings the rest of the week other than a meeting Friday afternoon that Glenn was able to attend.
I had a series of exams and meetings on Wednesday at the SCCA (everything from gynecological to dental). On Thursday I had a pulmonary function test at UW hospital (that was originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon), followed by a MUGA test (heart scan) at the SCCA Clinic and then a CT-PET scan. I took the shuttle to all the appointments beginning about 8:30 and getting back about 6:00 so it was a long day.
Friday (October) we had our team conference with the doctor and nurse at 3:45. We were told all test results have been good with no sign of the Mantle Cell Lymphoma. So I am in remission and don't need additional chemo before beginning the transplant process. They also advised us that, due to some scheduling issues, they couldn't install the central line until Friday the 21st and couldn't start the injections to mobilize the stem cells until Saturday the 22nd. They were able to change my schedule so I don't have any appointments until Thursday the 20th. Glenn and I headed to Kennewick at 6 PM Friday and will return Thursday morning.
It is so nice to be home for a few days. Laura had the house decorated for Halloween. The lawn mowed and the house cleaned.

Sending you a snail-mail to Kennewick for a change of pace today. In it I asked how to log back in to Paula's Place. Never mind ... obviously I've got that info again. (Sally had it, but didn't know how to use it. So we helped each other out.)
Please post here what your address will be when you are back in Seattle. Not clear if it's going to be the same or not .. and would sure like to continue to mail things to you when you are back up there.
