Paula did well today with chemotherapy. No reaction with the Rituxan as occurred last time. The nurse started at a low rate and raised the rate every half hour. The Rituxan took over 4 hours to complete, but that is better than the excitement from last time. Between lab work, seeing the doctor, and the two chemo drugs we were at the oncology center for 9 hours. Tomorrow she goes back for a second dose of bendamustine which is administered on both days, but should only take one to two hours.
Paula felt well throughout although her blood pressure got low toward the end of the Rituxan so they administered saline until the BP recovered. Her blood results were good including the results associated with the liver that they had some concern with last time.
We expect tomorrow to go well.

Paula you look so good. I enjoyed our visit this past week. I was so happy that you can still do all the things you want to do.
